that I take the cd out immediately. Their problem: "That girl. I can't
stand what she's doing." That girl: our own Karin. When the last girl
complained I stopped her abruptly saying "I'll take the cd out, but I don't
want to hear you say anything negative about that song."
...insert forlorn sigh...
>>It is extremely sad that some people are not even willing to tolerate
groups like OTR...I'm betting that you Kelvin, tolerate the shallow pop that
is usually played in the store ( I'm guessing you work in a Christian
bookstore? ). When I purchased my copy of Roaring Lambs, the store was
playing the CD, and I heard VOL...I was glad to hear that than the sappy CCM
pop I would have normally heard. It is amazing that people who call
themselves Christian are so quick to jump on music simply because it dosn't
fit into their idealistic CCM mold. Remember Sixpence caught a lot of flack
for playing Lilith Fair. I could be overly harsh in my treatments of most
CCM, but I doubt that I am. Unfortunately there are not too many cd's in the
CCM market that intelligently integrate faith & music. Try playing the Cd
again Kelvin, these people need to hear what OTR is saying
